It has been years since I landed on this blog...hohoho..~
Well, just made a simple comeback and since today is Saturday & I am just spending my time at home, let me share with you on a homemade facial mask.
For me to spend my $$$$$ simply on a facial mask really made me thinking more than few times. Moreover I am not very sure whether those commercial products will irritate my face or not.
Therefore, today I occupied my leisure time by pampering my face with egg white face mask. Yup yup, you got it right - egg white~! :p
If you Google it out, for sure there are plenty of info about making this mask yourself at home but my version is pretty simple...
Steps:
- Grab a small (or medium size) egg. Make sure this egg has been washed & cleaned before (to prevent any infections).
- Hold the egg vertically & by using a clean chopstick, punch a small hole on top of the egg. Make sure you already get your clean container ready to contain the egg white.
- Make another similar hole on the opposite side as well (so that you can let the egg to flow out).
- Contain the mount of egg white as much as possible by gently inverting the egg from one hole to the opposite.
- Once completed, you may scoop a table spoon of the egg white & separately put on another clean container/small plate.
- Store the remaining egg white in an air-tight container (you can keep it for about 5 days).
- Using your clean fingers, gently tap into the egg white & work it on all over your clean face. Wait for this thin 1st layer to dry.
- Once it has dried, work with the 2nd layer using similar motion onto your face and again wait for the 2nd layer to dry.
- I prefer to proceed with the 3rd layer so that I can maximize the egg white although 2nd layer is good enough. Hehehehe... :D
- Wait for about 15 minutes...and NO talking, NO smiling & so on...nope! Not during these 15 minutes~!
- Rinse your face thoroughly using cold water & pat dry. Done~! :)
Hehehe..you will notice that your face will be much cleaner, soothed and also fresher...not forgetting, your complexion just get better and clearer! My advise is to repeat this routine 2-3 times per week.
Happy trying~! :)
~~~ Ciao ~~~
